Entirely a Beef Cattle operation, Carnegie Station which is
(400,000 hectare) 988,400 acres in area, has full time managers
who run the operation, along with 4 staff.
Carnegie also provides a much needed rest stop for weiry travellers
who have braved the famous Gunbarrel Highway.
Basic supplies, souveniers, fuel and hot showers, the staff also provide
the WA Bureau of Meteorology with 3 weather reports each day.
Robert & his wife Tasma run their main (5,000 hectare) 12,000 acre
grazing property in the Midwest with 1 other staff member, with Rob
making regular trips to the station to provide supplies and get updated
on whats happening on the station.
Rob is a 4th generation WA farmer, and like his Great Grand Father -
Charles before him, who owned 2 farms and part ownership of 2
stations in the Pilbara, Rob is looking at new ways of better improving
farming, for his families future.
